Survey Manager

The following overview is based on the front and backend management that the site user and site administrator will enjoy.

(NB: The following is the system standard and will be tailored to the specific client requirement)

.: Survey Manager - Front End User Area

The survey management software will enable site users to choose to complete the online survey as required. Once the user has entered the survey homepage the system will display the current surveys that require completion, the user at this point will select the required survey at which point they will be directed through to the Survey Management page where the system will display the survey questions.

The system will accommodate for the answers to the survey questions either being multiple choice or text input.

The user will be required to complete the survey and once done they will then be required to complete the user detail form where the user will be required to specify their standard contact information. Once the user has completed the personal details form the system will direct the user through to the thank you page and write the survey information through to the survey database. 

.: Survey Manager - Back End SIte Administration Area

The software is designed to ensure all aspects of the management of the website are able to be handled in house by the site administrator. The private area of the website is called Site Manager and requires a username and password to gain entry.

The system is broken down to the following areas:

Survey Manager enables the site administrator to manage all aspects of their survey management in real-time. Admin has the ability to Add / Remove and Update survey information as and when required. Admin has the ability to browse all surveys or search for a survey using a keyword and or a category search.

Whether a new survey needs adding to the website, or for example an existing survey needs changing admin simply uses Survey Manager to perform these requirements.

When new surveys are added to the website admin is required to complete the form which generally includes the survey title, description, survey category. Once admin has added the information they will then have the ability to add the images as required. Once admin has specified the above they will be required to specify the number of questions within the survey, once admin has specified this the system will enable admin to enter the questions and specify whether the required answer is multiple choice or a specific text answer.

Once admin has completed the above they will simply press the update button for the changes to be saved and will be required to set the survery as active at the chosen time.

Category Management
Within Survey Manager is category management, this ensures that admin can create and manage survey categories. This ensures that if the website wishes to launch a new range of survey admin simply creates the new survey category to assign the new surveys to. Once admin has created the new survey category this will be displayed at the front end of the website to enable site users to search by it.

Image Management
Regarding image management for surveys, to ensure ease of use the system gives admin a browse option of their computer, this enables them to locate the image they require and once located they simply press the upload option which places the image directly on the server.

.: Stats Manager

The stats manager tool enables admin as required to run stats reports on the surveys that are currently available. Admin will have the ability to either search on survey stats by:

- Survey Name
- User Name

Once admin has specified the above they will simply press the search option at which point the system will display the survey details together with the number of responses the survey has had, the answers to the questions (if multiple choice a list of the specified answers) and the users that have responded.

Admin will have the ability from the page to choose to print the stats information.
