SMS Manager

The following overview is based on the backend management that the site administrator will enjoy.

(NB: The following is the system standard and will be tailored to the specific client requirement)

.: SMS MANAGER - Backend Site Administration Area

SMS Manager is a fully dynamic database driven sms marketing facility that enables the host website to market its products and services via sms text messages. The software is fully managed by the client and will enable more targeted sms marketing campaigns to be achieved.

Prior to admin sending an sms broadcast they have the ability to create their list of recipients, the options admin is presented with are:

• Profile Options

- Group
- Location

Once admin has specified their criteria the system will display the list of recipients, admin will have the ability if required to remove individual entries from the list.

Once complete admin will be directed through to the SMS text page where they will be required to enter their message text. Once admin has entered the information they will be directed through to the text check page where they will be required to check the information.

Schedule Sending
If required admin will have the ability to set a schedule option for creating sms campaigns. Admin will be required to enter the date / time they want the sms broadcast to be sent.

Once admin has checked the information they will simply press the broadcast button. once submitted the sms broadcast will be sent or set to schedule.

CSV Upload
Admin will have the ability through the system to upload a pre-defined CSV file for database repopulation or for appending to the current database. Admin will be given a browse option for them to locate the required file and once located they will simply press the upload button which will move the file to the server. Once the file is on the server admin will be required to select the ‘re-populate’ button at which point the system will run an error check and if successful will add the new data.

If an error is found the system will report back an error file, admin would then amend their file and attempt the process again.

Online Signup Form
This facility enables site users to signup to receive sms alerts. The ability for them to specify variables such as products or areas of interest is also available, this enables admin to target sms messages by product area or areas of interest.

SMS Manager Reports Software
To enable admin to monitor the success rate of their sms campaigns the software can be supplied with a reports module.

Admin has the ability to view:

• SMS Messages Received
• SMS Messages still in transit
• SMS Messages that have failed to be delivered and reason for failure

NOTE: All reports if required will contain the mobile number.

Once admin has selected their report choice the software will display the results, from this point admin can choose the ‘Generate Printable Version’ which enables them to print the reports off for their records.
