Question Manager
The following overview is based on the front and backend management that the site user and site administrator will enjoy.
(NB: The following is the system standard and will be tailored to the specific client requirement)
.: Question Manager – Front End User Area
All users who enter the test area within the website are required to initially signup. Users are required to enter:
- Name
- Address
- Password (For future login purposes)
- Confirm Password
Once the user has entered their information they will be required to press the ‘submit’ button which will write their details to the user database.
Once the users details have been written they will:
OPTION A: Be directed through to the test area where they will be required to complete the questions within the time limit specified.
OPTION B: Await admin approval prior to test area entry. Once admin has approved the user they will receive an email confirming their account is active.
Once the user has entered the Question Management area they will be required to answer the questions by choosing a multiple choice answer. When the user has completed the questions they will be required to press the ‘finish’ button which will evaluate the user answers.
Once the details have been checked the user will be notified on the test results. If the user has passed the test they will be directed through to next level of questions and will be required to repeat this process until all stages have been completed, once the questions have been completed the user will be shown a certificate link which once pressed will enable the user to print off the certificate.
All certificates contain id numbers which are linked to the user. This information is available within the user manager software.
.: Question Manager – Back End Site Administration Area
The question management facility enables the site administrator to fully manage the question area within the website.
Admin has the ability to add / remove and update tests and questions as and when required.
When creating a question test admin is initially required to create the test name and specify the number of stages. Once done admin will specify the questions for each stage. Admin is required to input ‘X’ questions for each stage and specify the multiple choice answers for each question, admin is required to flag the correct answer to enable the system to calculate the pass rate for each stage.
Once admin has setup the competition they simply assign it as active which makes it available to site users to complete.

All users who have entered the test area will have their details written to the user database. Admin has the ability to search for users by:
- Name
- Certificate id
- Test Name
Once admin has selected their method the system will display the matching user result(s). Admin will click the user id / name and be shown the full information held on the user including the test(s) they have passed and the relevant certificate id’s.
