Property Manager
The following overview is based on the backend management that the site administrator will enjoy.
(NB: The following is the system standard and will be tailored to the specific client requirement)
.: Property Enquiry Manager - Front End User Area
Property Manager is a fully dynamic software package that enables site users to search through the property database in real-time. Users will have the ability search for properties by (EXAMPLES ONLY):
- Buy or Rent
- Location
- Number of Bedrooms
- Minimum Price
- Maximum Price
- View All
Once the site user has specified their search criteria they will be directed through to the search results page where the matching property results will be displayed.
The results page generally works on a page system, 10 results per page (more or less if required) and the system will display the page numbers and the next and previous option for site users to click.
In addition the site user will have the ability to select the number of results they wish to view on a page.
The search results page shows abbreviated property information:
- Thumbnail
- Property Title
- Abbreviated Property Description
- Room Information
- More Details Button
When the user selects the ‘More Details’ button they will be directed through to the property details page where the user will have the ability to view the full property information. The information displayed will be:
- Property Address
- Property Description
- Property Status – For Sale / To Rent
- Number Of Bedrooms / Reception Rooms
- Bulleted Points – Key Features
- Description by Room
- View Printable Property Datasheet
- Add to Enquiry Pad
From the details page the user will have the ability to add the ‘property’ to their enquiry pad, once they have chosen this option they will be directed through to the enquiry pad page where there added property(s) will be displayed.
From this point the user can either continue browsing or select the submit enquiry option.
If the user selects to submit the enquiry they will be directed through to the details page where they will be required to enter their personal information. Once they have specified their details they will press the submit button at which point they will be directed through to the thank you page.
NOTE: Once the user presses the submit option the enquiry information will be emailed to admin and will contain the information for the customer and also the property(s) they have enquired about.

The software is designed to ensure all aspects of the management of the website are able to be handled in house by the site administrator. The private area of the website is called Site Manager and requires a username and password to gain entry.

Property Manager enables the site administrator to manage all aspects of their Property management in real-time. Admin has the ability to Add / Remove and Update property information as and when required. Admin has the ability to browse all properties or search for a property using a keyword and or a category search.
Whether a new property needs adding to the website, or for example an existing property description needs changing admin simply uses Property Manager to perform these requirements.
When new properties are added to the website admin is required to complete the property form which generally includes:
- Property Address
- Property Description
- Property Status – For Sale / To Rent
- Number Of Bedrooms / Reception Rooms
- Bulleted Points – Key Features
- Description by Room
Category Management (region management)
The category management facility enables the site administrator to manage the different regions available on the website.
Image Management
Regarding image management for propertys, to ensure ease of use the system gives admin a browse option of their computer, this enables them to locate the image they require and once located they simply press the upload option which places the image directly on the server. This process caters for thumbnail and preview images and ensures FTP is not required.
