PDF Manager
The following overview is based on the front and backend management that the site user will enjoy.
(NB: The following is the system standard and will be tailored to the specific client requirement)
.: PDF MANAGER - Front End User Area
The PDF Manager tool enables the host website to manage and create PDF documents ‘on demand’. The software links directly to the products database to ensure the information that will be used when the PDF is generated is the most current available.
The PDF software once integrated is set to be available from the product detail page, in addition it is recommended to link through the knowledgebase, this will enable the website to run its own PDF search engine, the options would be to generate PDF by:
- Product Category
- The user will have the ability to output their pdf based on category, the user would simply select the required categories at which point the system would display the download link.
- Product Code
- The user will have the ability to enter the product code at which point the system will display the download link for the product datasheet.
- Create bespoke catalogue
- The user will have the ability to search and browse the product selecting the required products they wish to include within their bespoke brochure.
Once the user has selected their required products they will have the ability to view the product list and once confirmed press the ‘generate pdf’ option.
Once the PDF has been generated the system will display the download link for the user to save the information.
